4JET provides laser solutions for future surface technology. Since its foundation in 2006, the company has developed unique processes such as PearlCut glass cutting, the LEAF technology for micronscale surface modification by laser interference patterning to reduce fuel consumption of aircraft. The portfolio also includes ablation solutions for cleaning, surface preparation or product traceability. Core markets are solar PV and technical glass processing in display, semiconductor and glazing, as well as the tire industry and e-mobility space. 4JET employs over 190 specialists including over 90 engineering roles in its headquarters in Alsdorf (Germany) and subsidiaries in Atlanta (USA), Shanghai (China) and Prutting near Rosenheim (Germany).
