Profile

Oscar Perez is an Aerospace enthusiast which has developed his career in the MRO sector. He holds an Aerospace Engineering Msc of University Politécnica of Madrid and Executive MBA by CEF. Started his professional career in Rolls Royce Aerospace, Derby, in the Aerothermal group. Went back to Spain to join Maxam Group (R&D development) before joining Iberia Maintenance. He has built his career in the Engine business, leading different areas before being appointed as Engine Director. He spent 5 years leading the transformation of the Iberia engine shop into a global business, with a wider customer base and a larger engine portfolio with new generation engine licenses such as Leap-X and GTF. In 2019 he was appointed Airframe Maintenance Director to grow efficiencies in Base Maintenance while expanding third party customers. Last year Oscar joined Globalia Maintenance (Air Europa Base Maintenance MRO) to lead the Transformation of the company into a customer focused and efficient aircraft MRO. With a large capability (Boeing 737 & 787, and Airbus A320 & A330) and main base in Palma de Mallorca, Globalia MRO is expanding its capacity by building a 3-wide body position hangar in Madrid airport, to be opened in Q1 2024.
