Scott Helmer

Profile

Scott leads the IFS global Aerospace & Defense business, from the overall customer and market strategy, corporate planning, operational effectiveness and performance management; through to the execution of sales and solution delivery. Scott is accountable to ensure every IFS A&D customer is successful achieving the business value and transformational outcomes they expect from IFS’ industry leading portfolio of solutions. Prior to IFS, Scott served in a variety of executive leadership roles across operations and finance, including most recently as the COO and CFO of Mxi Technologies, a leading provider of aviation maintenance management software that was acquired by IFS in January 2017. He has held executive leadership, board and advisory roles at organizations ranging from small start-ups to large publicly-traded companies in the communications, data networking, software and information security markets; and in a volunteer capacity as a board member for multiple not-for-profit organizations. Educated at the University of Waterloo, Scott is also a Chartered Accountant.
