Marcel Leon de Paz is Senior Director Sales Europe and Africa at MTU Maintenance. In this function, he and his team are responsible for creating sales leads and developing MTU’s services’ business within Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

Marcel joined MTU in 2015 and has over 10 years of experience in the engine industry. He began his aviation career as a student at Pratt & Whitney Canada, followed by several roles across engine design, production and MRO with Rolls-Royce.

Marcel holds an executive MBA from Essec & Mannheim universities and a master of applied science in aerospace engineering from Ryerson University. He has been based in Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Norway. He now lives and works in Germany.
