Zilvinas Lapinskas is the CEO of FL Technics, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, and a Board Member of Avia Solutions Group, the parent company of FL Technics.
Zilvinas has spearheaded remarkable transformations within FL Technics organization, propelling it from its humble beginnings in a single hangar in Vilnius, Lithuania, to a formidable global organization with a network spanning Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and additional facilities in Lithuania, with expansions underway in Punta Cana and Bali.
Under Zilvinas's strategic guidance, FL Technics has diversified its portfolio, encompassing various business lines under its umbrella. These include a thriving spare parts trading division servicing over 600 clients globally, a hospital engine shop renowned for its excellence, and a line maintenance operation boasting over 70 stations worldwide. Noteworthy achievements also extend to the wheels & brakes business, which stands as the second-largest globally with contracts covering more than 400 aircraft, and CAMO services supporting over 100 aircraft. Further, FL Technics excels in technical training, issuing over 5000 certificates yearly, and operates a Design Organization Approval (DOA) undertaking more than 250 design modifications annually.
