Profile

Having previous experience in both Operator and Lessor facing roles; Simon currently holds the position of Director, Technical at Macquarie Airfinance. Along with extensive experience in LOI and Lease negotiation Simon has also undertaken multiple project management roles on aircraft transitions spanning various jurisdictions including Europe, Asia, and South America, playing a vital role ensuring successful and timely return of aircraft and subsequent delivery to onward Lessee’s with responsibility for all deliverables including budgeting, resourcing, and MRO selection. He holds an Honours bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dublin City University and a postgraduate diploma in Aviation, Leasing, and finance from the Law Society of Ireland.
