Thomas is Director Sales & Marketing Aircraft Conversions at Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW), based in Dresden/Germany.
Thomas joined EFW in 2008. He is responsible for sales for EFW’s A330P2F and A320/A321P2F passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programmes, as well as technical product marketing, market analyses and forecasting. He takes care of the sales region EMEA and previously Asia-Pacific.
He graduated from the University of Technology in Dresden/Germany and holds a master degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2023 he targets to receive his MBA graduation from the HHL graduate school of management in Leipzig/Germany.
Before his time at EFW he was involved in various research projects at BMW, Daimler and Ford in Germany and at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and started his career as International Key-Account Manager at high-pressure die casting manufacturer DGH Group in Germany.
