Earl Exum is President, International Aero Engines AG - a multinational aero engine consortium. Earl joined Pratt & Whitney in 1996 and has held positions in operations, aftermarket, overhaul and repair, materials management, continuous improvement, sales, and human resources. Immediately prior to his current role, he was VP, Maintenance Services & Aftermarket Sales. He led the aftermarket business from service development and pricing to sales and campaign support through fleet management of long-term service agreements and operational analytics.
Previously, Earl was VP, Commercial Spares & Material Solutions. He was the senior executive responsible for the commercial engines transactional aftermarket business that includes spare part and engine maintenance sales.
In his prior position, he was VP, Global Materials & Logistics - the senior executive responsible for forecasting, supply chain planning, materials systems and reporting, aftermarket operations planning and scheduling processes, engine master scheduling, configuration management, global distribution & logistics and for leading and executing the company’s inventory management strategies. Earl holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and dual master’s degrees from Purdue University (M.S. in Management) and Ecole Supérieure de Commerce (ESC) de Rouen, France (MBA in International Business).
