Maurick Groeneveld has over 25 years of aviation experience, which includes commercial aircraft leasing, aircraft management and MRO sales.
Maurick is Managing Director of AvSkills which offers consultancy services like aircraft asset management and remarketing services. For Doric he has been managing Doric’s portfolio of aircraft on lease ranging from ATRs up to A380s as well as the global remarketing activities for these aircraft. Prior to Doric in 2008, he worked in a similar role with Frankfurt-based DSF since 1999. Before moving to the leasing and finance side of the aviation industry, Maurick worked four years as marketing manager with Brussels-based Sabena Technics, the MRO of the airline Sabena, doing both the marketing as well as MRO sales activities to various airlines in Europe. Maurick gained his initial work experience in the aviation industry in marketing and sales of Fokker Aircraft in Amsterdam.
He received his MSc in Aerospace Engineering from the Delft University in Holland and specialized in commercial aircraft management and valuation. Maurick has particular experience in aircraft acquisition, management, maintenance and remarketing.
