Swaran is a highly experienced individual having spent over 38 years in aviation engineering & maintenance in various roles within airlines operations. Worked with legacy, VIP and low cost carriers holding positions as Aircraft Mechanic, Licensed Engineer, Head of Engineering and Maintenance, Technical Director and Head of Fleet Technical Management. Swaran spent the last 20 years in senior roles with a strong operational, safety and cost awareness. In easyJet, Swaran was instrumental in the insourcing and setup of the Part M services specifically in the areas of Fleet Engineering, Planning and Technical Records which is our centre of excellence today. Innovation being part of his DNA, Swaran also transitioned easyJet’s Technical Records system from a paper based to a digital system including the introduction of e-sign and followed with the introduction of their Long Term Planning Tool that transformed the way of working in Maintenance Planning.Sessions
