Holger Speckmann is the Managing Director of Testia GmbH, Germany. As an Engineer in Mechanical and Material Science Holger Speckmann worked from 1989 until 2014 for AIRBUS in the field of structures, materials, processes and NDE.
He has 10 years’ experience in the field of In-Service NDT in development, preparation and deployment of NDT techniques and procedures for the Airbus Non-Destructive Testing Manual (NTM). In this function he support airlines worldwide and perform NDT inspections service aircrafts.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) as a senior manager for all strategic and development related topics.
He leads national and international research projects in the field of SHM (SMIST, TATEM, INDeT) and owns several patents.
Since January 2014 he is heading the TESTIA GmbH as CEO in Germany as part of the TESTIA Holding.
He is the Co-Founder of the SHM-AISC (Structural Health Monitoring - Aerospace Industry Steering Committee) and CAWG (Commercial Aviation Working Group) which includes Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier, FAA, EASA, US-Air Force, NASA, etc.).
Holger is a member of the A4A (Airline for America) group.
