Chris Bigwood is the regional Senior Solutions Architect, Connected Aircraft for Honeywell Aerospace. He is the SME for Airlines Connected Aircraft.
He has spent over 35 years in airline Operations and Engineering roles. His strong knowledge in maintenance and more recently operational data connectivity places him perfectly within the aviation operational data industry.
Chris was the Intelligent Maintenance Operations lead in Etihad Airways Engineering. His projects were based on performance data to ultimately minimise operational disruptions by tracking real-time measurements from thousands of high-value systems across the airline network, understanding each systems health status wherever it is and making informed decisions about how and when they are maintained using industrial analytics and visualization platforms.
His expertise includes tomorrows next-gen Aerospace Connectivity and optimised data paths for increased efficiency, reduced latency and data handling costs. Chris has extensive experience in Aircraft Systems Health Monitoring Project Delivery and is a regular conference speaker on Aerospace Technical Data usability.
Chris studied Aeronautical Engineering at West London College, Airline Management at Oxford Brookes University and is a Prince2 Project Management practitioner.
